My name is Emilie Kirkpatrick and I am a graphic artist with a passion for storytelling! A lifelong lover of books, music, and film, I have always seen art and design as a tool to tell great stories and communicate a message. When I approach a project, whether it is a professional piece for a client or a personal piece of fine art, I always put the story and message first. I believe everyone has a story to be told, and that art is an incredible way to tell it!
I got my start in graphic design as a young teen, utilizing self-taught Photoshop skills to create t-shirt designs that were bought and sold by a company. After high school, I began my studies with Full Sail University’s immersive and exciting online graphic design degree program. Every class was heavily career-focused, with intensive assignments designed to emulate real-world projects and prepare me for a professional career as a designer. I earned my bachelor’s in three years, during which I worked retail jobs and pursued freelance graphic design in my free time. I have created logos, illustrations, social media assets, and more for clients that included authors, musicians, and non-profits.
